Can you wash them?

Yes!  You can wash all of our G95 gear per the wash n care instructions on each product.  Our G95 gear can be washed over 50 times before the filtration efficiency starts to gradually go down.  Please follow the instructions on our CARING & WEARING page and for maximum lifespan and filtration efficiency use our G95 Biowash! 

Will your gear protect me from Coronavirus / COVID-19?

There is no silver bullet when it comes to the Coronavirus or COVID-19.  You need to be diligent cleaning, disinfecting, washing your hands and limiting your social interaction.  If and when you have to interact with people, our G95 gear can help protect you. All our gear has better protection than an N95 rated filter.  N95 means that it blocks out 95% of particles .3 microns and larger.  All our gear has been tested to filter out 99.75% of all particles .1 microns and larger. Normal masks or N95 respirators only protect your nose and mouth whereas our gear protects your ears and now with our Biogoggles your eyes.  In addition, our new G95 Filtration Technology also has a NANO fiber layer that is especially good for this type of thing.  You can find more on our filtration here: https://www.g95.com/pages/filtration 

How many times can you wash them before the filtration is affected?

Our G95 gear can be washed over 50 times before the filtration efficiency starts to gradually go down.  Please follow the instructions on our CARING & WEARING page and for maximum lifespan and filtration efficiency use our G95 Biowash!

What is the difference between a Bioscarf and a Biogaiter?

Our G95 Bioscarf functions like a normal scarf that you wrap around your head and can tie in a variety ways whereas our Biogaiter is a closed loop that you slip over your head and tighten as needed.

Do you need to replace the filters?

Our G95 Filtration Technology is washable so there is no need to remove, replace or purchase new filters.  Simply wash your gear with our G95 Biowash and you are good to go!

Do you have gear for warm weather?

Yes!  We now have hemp versions of our Bioscarf and our Biogaiter for warm weather. You can shop our warm weather gear here.

What is the difference between G95 and N95?

G95 is our company and parent brand name.  N95 is a filtration rating.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship all over the world! 

What is the difference between the V1 Bioscarf and the V2 Bioscarf?

The new and improved Bioscarf features reinforced construction, upgraded fabric, new branding with G95 Filtration Technology.

Why is everything "pre-order"?

Our initial inventory was held up overseas because of the virus.  A few weeks back we decided the only way to ensure that everything would be safe for all our customers was to remake it here in the United States. They are cutting and sewing as we speak. That’s why everything is “pre-order”.

What does ‘pre-order’ mean?

Pre-order products are products that are currently in production which means they will be shipped as soon as they are ready. Pre-order products can take several weeks to ship depending on the item. 

Will your gear protect me from Tear Gas?

Our current G95 Filtration Material was not designed nor is it adequate to protect you from tear gas.  We are developing an industrial grade version of our G95 Filtration Material that we hope to launch soon for more heavy-duty applications. Stay tuned!

What is the difference between a normal handkerchief?

A single layer of a cotton t-shirt or handkerchief filters out an average of 30% of airborne particles size 50 microns and larger.  In tests our products filter out an average of 99.75% of airborne particles 0.1 microns and larger.

About Us

How did you come up with the idea?

My husband got sick while on a trip to China. He visited a Doctor while he was there and the doctor told him he had most likely gotten sick on the plane or from the air pollution. He asked the doctor what he could do to protect himself in the future and the doctor said the only thing that he could do was to use a mask. My husband said, one of the masks that make you look like you are sick?  And the doctor responded, yep. When he returned home he told me what had happened.

 

I grew up in the countryside in Costa Rica. My favorite toys growing up were two hand me down dolls.  The clothes on the dolls were old and worn so anytime I could get my hands-on fabric scraps I would try to make them new outfits. Most of the time the scraps weren’t big enough for entire outfits so I started to make little scarfs for them.

 

When my husband mentioned what had happened and that there had to be something better than one of the white masks that make you look like you are sick, I thought back to the dolls and those scarfs and that’s when I came up with the idea. Something fashionable that could add a special touch to any outfit but that could also help protect you at the same time.

 

After we launched the Bioscarf we realized that our one of a kind design could be used for a lot more and that is how G95 came to life.

Where are you located?

Most of our team is located in Georgia, about an hour south of Atlanta.  If you would like to set up a meeting in person shoot us an email and we will get back in touch to set something up. 

Can I buy G95 gear in stores?

Currently you can only buy our gear online.   We hope to be in retail locations around the world soon.  If you are a retailer that would like to carry G95 gear please reach out via email so we can get you set-up.

Sizing

What size Biohoodie should I order?

On the Biohoodie product page to the right you will see a tab with “Sizing” on it. If you open that tab it gives you some general measurements for sizing.  

How long is the Bioscarf?

On the Bioscarf product page you will find details on the fabric and the dimensions of the Bioscarf.  It is 74 inches long.

Do you have kids sizes available?

We currently don’t have any kids sizes in any of our products except for our Bioblanky which is for infants.  We are currently developing a Bioscarf for kids and also a Biohoodie pullover for kids that we hope to launch soon.

Why can’t I buy a G95 T-Shirt?

We are in the business of selling gear with our G95 Filtration Technology incorporated into its design.  That’s why we only giveaway our G95 T-Shirts with Special Offers. 

Has your gear been tested?

Yes! All of our gear has been tested at one of the premier testing facilities in the U.S. and it outperformed many of the popular air pollution masks or allergy masks that are on the market today. Our G95 gear filtered out an average of 99.75% of all airborne particles size 0.1 microns and larger. Visit our Testing page for more information.

Are your products eco-friendly?

We are as committed to making sure our products and practices don’t contribute to Climate Change as we are to creating gear that protects you from it.  You can learn more about what we are doing to limit our impact on our Sustainability page.

Where are your products made?

All our products will now be made in the USA.  If you have placed a PRE-ORDER on our website and it hasn't been fulfilled and or shipped your order will be made here in the USA.  We will be publicly announcing our new US manufacturing partner shortly.

Ordering & Shipping

How do I know my order has shipped?

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully placed.  Please make sure your shipping address is correct as we are unable to redirect goods once they are on route to you. Once your order is prepared for shipment you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information.

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship to the U.S and most international addresses. We do not ship to PO Boxes/APO/FPO addresses or any entity or country that is currently sanctioned and restricted by the U.S. government.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping and handling in the United States is now $15. Please note that order processing may take longer because of demand.

Taxes and import duties?

Applicable sales tax will be charged on merchandise total, where applicable. Taxes are calculated according to shipping destination and itemized on the Order Summary page. Any import duties or customs clearance fees for international orders are the customers responsibility. If you fail to pay the import duties required and the order is returned to us you will be responsible to pay for the return shipping and handling.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

Because of the potential for cross contamination with our products we do not accept returns. If an item is received damaged we will gladly replace it.

When will I receive my refund?

If we issue a refund for any reason, your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used for the original transaction.Please note that credit card refunds may take up to 10 business day for your bank to complete, depending on their processing times. This can vary greatly between credit card issuers.

Can I return an item I bought on Sale?

All final sales cannot be returned or exchanged.  Any products purchased during a "sale" or with a "discount code" are considered final sales, meaning they cannot be returned or exchanged. Depending on the situation we may agree to accept a return or exchange on a "final sale" item but that is solely at our discretion.
